🌍 Your Mission:
As an EHS&Q Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining MAXAM’s HSEQ standards, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all operational areas.
🛡️ Key Responsibilities:
· Health & Safety
· Promote and enforce risk prevention policies and workplace safety plans.
· Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
· Ensure proper use and availability of PPE and maintain stock records.
· Support the Senior HSEQ in achieving safety objectives and maintaining documentation.
· Lead training and awareness programs for occupational health and safety.
· Environment
· Implement and monitor environmental policies and emergency plans.
· Investigate environmental incidents and maintain records of waste and resource consumption.
· Support internal audits and ensure compliance with environmental procedures.
· Quality
· Enforce corporate quality policies and systems.
· Conduct audits, manage non-conformities, and drive preventive actions.
· Ensure continuous improvement in processes, products, and customer satisfaction.
· Authority
· Empowered to stop any activity in case of unsafe conditions, environmental risks, or quality concerns.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
· Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably in mining or construction.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Good command of English.
· Preferably from Red Sea Governorate.
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
