Job Overview
Assists in implementing the organization's health and safety policies and procedures in order to meet organizational objectives and governmental regulations
Job Requirements
- Assisting in making and maintaining necessary safety and health records according to established guidelines.
- Assisting in training employees on safety guidelines, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety.
- Checking compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations.
- Organizing and participating in occupational safety and health inspections.
What Your Background Should Look Like
Typically requires 4 or more years of related work experience. Requires high school diploma. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
