Duties
- Coordinate and monitor order processing, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory levels
- Manage warehouse distribution workflows, including materials handling and stock replenishment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400
- Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, root causes of delays or errors, and opportunities for process improvements
- Support procurement and sourcing efforts by evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
- Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to generate reports on inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain analytics
- Oversee inventory management tasks including stock counting, cycle counts, and inventory control measures to optimize stock levels
- Collaborate with logistics providers (3PLs), shipping & receiving teams, and internal departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and materials handling
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations or ecommerce logistics with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution and inventory control
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, AS400 or similar platforms; experience with SQL or data analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI is highly desirable
- Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements within supply chain workflows
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), demand planning tools, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making purposes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order processing, shipping & receiving documentation, and inventory tracking
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and managing supplier relationships
