Job Title: eBay Automotive Parts Listing Specialist
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: On-site
Compensation: $17.00 – $19.00+ performance-based
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented eBay Automotive Parts Listing Specialist to manage our growing e-commerce storefront. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our physical inventory and online buyers by transforming auto parts into clean, high-converting, search-optimized eBay listings. If you know your way around car parts and have a knack for e-commerce, we want you on our team.
- Identify Parts: Inspect automotive parts to accurately identify the make, model, year, and condition.
- Research Fitment: Locate Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPN), interchange codes, and OEM details to map out precise vehicle compatibility.
- Capture Imagery: Take clear, well-lit photos of parts from multiple angles, highlighting part numbers, labels, and any cosmetic wear.
- Build Listings: Create high-converting eBay listings with SEO-optimized titles, comprehensive item specifics, and accurate pricing.
- Write Descriptions: Draft clear, transparent product descriptions that detail item condition, include hardware, and compatibility information.
- Manage Pricing: Monitor competitor pricing and adjust our inventory rates to ensure maximum profitability and sales velocity.
- Track Inventory: Log and update stock references or bin locations so listed items are easy to find when sold.
Qualifications & Skills
- Auto Parts Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive terminology, mechanical components, and body panels.
- Tech-Savvy: High comfort level with eBay’s listing portal, basic photo editing tools, and inventory software.
- SEO & Data Entry Skills: Ability to write titles designed to match buyer search terms without using wasted filler words.
- Attention to Detail: Absolute accuracy when handling sensitive fitment data, VIN lookups, and part numbers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for periods of time and safely lift, flip, or move heavy parts when taking photos.
Bonus Points
- Experience using bulk listing software or automotive inventory tools like BreakerPRO or PartsPlus.
- Previous experience working in a salvage yard, dealership parts counter, or automotive repair shop.
