Gulf Stream HR Services is seeking a highly strategic and results-driven E-Commerce Category Manager (Electronics) to manage and scale the product category for our partner's platform (Wibi products).
We are looking for a commercial-minded professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in category management, with a solid background in the consumer electronics field.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Strategy: Develop and execute the growth strategy for the consumer electronics category (Wibi products) to maximize revenue and market share.
- Assortment & Sourcing: Identify key market trends, onboard new sellers/brands, and optimise product assortment and pricing strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze daily sales data, inventory health, out-of-stock (OOS) rates, and customer behavior to drive continuous improvement.
- Campaign & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute high-converting promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal events.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform any other related operational or business development tasks requested by the management team.
Requirements
- Total Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in E-Commerce Category Management.
- Domain Expertise: At least 2+ years of dedicated experience managing the Electronics category (Mobiles, Accessories, Laptops, Gadgets, etc.).
- Preferred Background: Solid hands-on experience working at Amazon or Noon is a major advantage.
- Business Acumen: Strong negotiation, pricing strategy, inventory management, and competitor analysis skills.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and E-commerce data analytics tools.
