Driver Trainer/Instructor – Code 14 Jobs in Richards Bay, South Africa at Top Recruitment (Pty) Ltd
We’re seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to teach and assess driving skills to new drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle operation and logistics procedures. This role requires strong organizational and communications skill, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Train drivers on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
2. Conduct on-the-job training and assessments for new drivers
3. Provide coaching and feedback to improve driver performance and compliance
4. Develop and deliver training programs to meet industry standards
5. Monitor driver performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Skills and experience:
REQUIREMENTS
1. Grade 11+ (Minimum Requirement)
2. Code 14 valid driver’s license essential
3. A Minimum of 2 years’ Driver Training experience (Essential)
4. Experience in Dry Bulk Driving / Petro Chemical Training (advantageous)
5. Vocational training certification (e.g., LGV/PSV)
6. Teta Accredited essential
7. Experience in logistics or transportation industry essential
8. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and industry standards
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to adapt training to meet individual driver needs
11. PC Literacy (MS Office)
RUMUNERATION
R35,000 To R40,000 (Negotiable – based on experience)
