VACANCY: Delivery Driver

About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods to customers accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any defects.
- Verify delivery notes, invoices, and proof of delivery documents.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and comply with traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
- Collect customer signatures and return completed documentation.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Assist with warehouse duties when required.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and in good condition.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Valid South African Code 10 Driver’s Licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
- Minimum of 2 years’ delivery driving experience.
- Good knowledge of routes within KwaZulu-Natal.
- Clean driving record and clear criminal record.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move goods.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
