Draftsperson Jobs in Johannesburg at Warrior Edge Projects
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, plans, and designs in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
- National Diploma or relevant qualification in Draughting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5–8 years’ proven experience as a Draftsperson in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or related environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, design principles, and industry standards.
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and designs from specifications and calculations.
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings using approved drafting software.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and engineering changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.
- Conduct site visits and measurements when required.
- Assist with project planning and design reviews.
- Ensure all drafting work is completed within project deadlines.
