Job Summary
Seeking a Mobile Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and grooming expertise will shine! In this role, you will provide professional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. Your dedication to animal care combined with excellent customer service will ensure every pet leaves looking and feeling their best. Must have 2+ years grooming experience. No mobile experience necessary. This is a commission based position, with 100% tips and W-2. Average weekly income is approximately $1300 – $1600 plus tips
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and styling tailored to each dog’s breed and individual needs
- Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures
- Assess each pet’s coat condition and skin health, providing recommendations for ongoing care or veterinary referral if necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming van, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized according to health standards
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
- Assist with pet handling during check-in and check-out processes, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in pet grooming ; certification in pet grooming is a plus
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain pets safely using appropriate techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
