As Divisional CFO, you’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and Board to guide the strategic direction, driving sustainable growth and operational excellence across the organization.

POSITION INFO:

You'll oversee the financial management of multiple subsidiaries, ensuring compliance, governance, and profitability. This role requires a visionary leader who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Work with the CEO and Board to set and execute corporate strategy
  • Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and timely financial reporting
  • Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including SARS and CIPC
  • Treasury & Capital Management: Manage cash flow, optimize capital structure, and lead funding initiatives
  • Risk & Tax Management: Ensure tax compliance and address financial and operational risks
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead M&A strategy and integration processes
  • Sustainability & Transformation: Drive B-BBEE and corporate responsibility initiatives
  • Leadership: Manage the finance team, driving governance and succession planning

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CA(SA) or SAIPA registered
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with 5+ years in an executive role (CFO/FD)
  • Proven experience in managing group structures and exposure to African or international markets advantageous

The proposed salary for the role is R100k – R150k per month – the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
