Dispatch Supervisor

Job Description

Job Purpose

• This role supports daily warehouse and dispatch operations by coordinating stock movements and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. It ensures compliance with safety, food quality and regulatory standards while promoting efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and updates to internal and external customers
• Manage inventory distribution, receiving, and accurate record-keeping
• Coordinate all inbound and outbound stock movements
• Ensure timely completion and submission of dispatch and receiving documentation
• Monitor dispatch operations and resolve any arising issues
• Ensure trucks are properly cleaned and compliant before loading
• Maintain accurate records and manage high volumes of paperwork
• Arrange product dispatch and collection according to company processes
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks
• Promote a safe, productive, and positive working environment
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Monitor and address food safety and operational compliance issues
• Follow and enforce company policies and procedures

Qualification Requirements

• Grade 12
• Strong Computer skills

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years working experience in the field of Food Manufacturing Company
• Relevant qualification in Stock control and storekeeping and Logistic would be advantageous.
• Forklift certification and driving experience
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 principles
