Dispatch Coordinator, Cape Town
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Coordinator to manage and oversee dispatch operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth coordination of bulk and local outsourced deliveries, maintain strong customer communication, and drive operational excellence within the warehouse and logistics team.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience in dispatch operations.
- Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
- Valid forklift license with proven driving experience.·
- Valid South African driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; SAP
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate bulk and local outsourced deliveries.
- Client liaison: ETAs, and late deliveries.
- Ensure transport and delivery documentation is submitted for invoicing.
- Handle customer queries related to dispatch ·
- Prepare vehicle routing and waybills for bulk and local deliveries.
- Assist customers with collections and deliveries when required.
- Stock control, support pickers and escalate discrepancies.
- Coordinate transportation of returns and credits with customers.
- Support warehouse operations with picking, packing, and stock counts.
- Participate in HSE activities, housekeeping, and proactive reporting.
- Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Assist with MIGO processing of incoming goods.
Pay: R15 000,00 – R19 000,00 per month
