As our Dispatch Clerk, you aren’t just filing papers—you are the engine room of our delivery operations. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Operations & Logistics: Coordinating and scheduling the dispatch of goods, vehicles, and drivers to ensure the right items get to the right place.
- Documentation: Preparing and verifying delivery notes, invoices, and all necessary dispatch paperwork.
- Quality Control: Ensuring goods are loaded correctly according to specific orders and delivery schedules.
- Real-Time Tracking: Monitoring delivery progress and communicating with drivers regarding routes, timing, or any mid-journey changes.
- Problem Solving: Handling the "hiccups"—addressing delays, shortages, or discrepancies with a cool head.
- Collaboration: Liaising daily with warehouse staff, transport teams, and our clients to keep everyone in the loop.
- Admin & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records and ensuring every move follows company safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
This is a hands-on role that requires both mental focus and physical stamina. To be considered, you must meet the following:
- Physical Fitness: You must be able to lift between 30kg – 50kg regularly.
- Credentials: A valid driver’s license is non-negotiable.
- Skills: Strong communication, basic problem-solving skills, and a knack for administrative accuracy.
