- This role is responsible for supervising crews, managing equipment utilization, and ensuring that dirt work aligns with project specifications and schedules
- Supervise and lead grading crews in daily operations, including excavation, embankment, fine grading, and compaction
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to ensure accurate execution of grading work
- Help coordinate the use of heavy equipment such as dozers, motor graders, excavators, and compactors
- Monitor progress and quality of grading work, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Maintain job site safety in accordance with company and OSHA standards
- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with grading plans
- Train and mentor crew members, promoting professional growth and development
- Monitor material usage and minimize waste
- Assist in planning and scheduling work and resources efficiently
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
