Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Director role based in Tunis. The Director will oversee strategic planning, execution, and performance management for key business units, ensuring alignment with Proxym Group’s digital services and solutions roadmap. The role includes leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams, driving operational excellence, and managing budgets, resources, and key performance indicators. The Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and senior leadership, to define growth strategies, secure new business opportunities, and strengthen long-term customer relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve risk management, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality delivery across projects and services.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong strategic planning and business management abilities, with experience in setting objectives, managing budgets, and driving growth.
- Background in IT, digital services, or software integration, with familiarity or interest in sectors such as banking, fleet management, retail, or smart home solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to interact effectively with clients, partners, and executive leadership.
- Solid project and program management experience, including governance, risk management, and delivery of complex, multi-country initiatives.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments; fluency in English is required, with French or other languages considered an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Tunis and to travel occasionally for regional or international engagements as needed.
