Managing Director – Private Equity | Casablanca
Batenborch International is conducting an executive search on behalf of a leading regional private equity investment platform with more than USD 450 million in assets under management and a strong track record of investing, scaling and transforming companies across the MENA region.
The firm is recognized for its highly operational and hands-on approach, working closely with management teams, boards and shareholders to drive growth, operational excellence, regional expansion and value creation. Its portfolio spans multiple sectors including financial services, fintech, technology, healthcare, consumer goods, logistics, manufacturing and education.
As part of its continued growth and expansion in Morocco, the firm is seeking to appoint a Managing Director based in Casablanca.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Originate and develop investment opportunities through strong business networks and market relationships.
▪ Lead investment evaluations, due diligences, financial analyses, valuation exercises and investment committee presentations.
▪ Structure and execute transactions from sourcing through closing.
▪ Partner with CEOs, founders and Boards to drive strategic initiatives, business transformation and growth acceleration.
▪ Support portfolio companies in achieving sustainable revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, operational excellence and regional expansion.
▪ Lead exit preparation and execution processes.
Ideal Profile
✔ 15+ years of professional experience.
✔ 8+ years in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Principal Investments, M&A, Corporate Development or Strategy Consulting.
✔ Strong transaction execution experience and investment judgment.
✔ Proven ability to engage with CEOs, founders, boards and shareholders.
✔ Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
✔ Well-established network across Morocco and/or the MENA region.
✔ Fluent in English
