We’re on the hunt for a passionate, driven South African woman to create YouTube videos that speak directly to the hearts of South African female viewers. If you know your ASMR triggers from your storytime structure, this role is calling your name.
The Role
You’ll be our lead video creator — producing, editing, and publishing content across a range of exciting niches. We’re not looking for someone who just follows trends. We want someone who helps set them.
Video Niches You’ll Specialise In:
- ASMR content (whispering, tapping, scratching, roleplay, binaural audio)
- Skincare, haircare, and beauty tutorials tailored for South African women
- Realistic lifestyle vlogs — real homes, real budgets, real South African life
- Side hustle, finance tips, and money content for young SA women
- Book reviews, study-with-me, and educational content
- Fashion lookbooks, thrift hauls, and affordable style content
- Cooking, meal prep, and South African recipe videos
- Mental health, self-care, and women’s wellness content
- Relationship advice, dating, and real-talk opinion content
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Produce 2–4 high-quality YouTube videos per month (or as agreed)
- Script, film, edit, and upload all content independently
- Optimise each video with SEO-rich titles, keyword-heavy descriptions, hashtags, and timestamps
- Create compelling thumbnails that improve click-through rate
- Grow and manage a loyal subscriber community
- Cross-post to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Shorts
- Analyse performance data and adapt strategy for growth
- Source or review PR products and create sponsored content as needed
We Need Someone Who:
- Is a South African woman with a genuine passion for YouTube and online content
- Has experience creating videos — professional or personal
- Is comfortable being on camera and presenting in a natural, relatable way
- Can edit videos to a good standard using any software
- Has a working understanding of YouTube SEO and what makes videos rank
- Is consistent, creative, and motivated by results
- Has a reliable device and basic filming setup
You’ll Stand Out If You:
- Have an ASMR recording setup or are interested in this growing niche
- Already have an engaged YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram audience
- Have worked with brands or done affiliate marketing before
- Are fluent in more than one of South Africa’s 11 official languages
The Package:
- R10,000 monthly salary — paid on time, every time
