DIE CUT MACHINE OPERATOR Jobs in Durban at Freedom Stationary
- Ensure that the job card is followed as per job specifications.
- Ensure that raw materials for the job card are available.
- Machine Operator should switch on main isolator switch and switch on the mail run switch.
- Job specification/pile must be loaded onto pallet and transferred onto machine panel for pile up.
- Set up and operate die cutting machines according to job specifications
- Load raw materials (paperboard, Board Sheet, plastic, etc.) into the machine
- Install and align dies accurately for precise cutting.
- Monitor machine performance during production.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, defects, and quality standards.
- Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report major faults.
- Complete production logs and documentation.
? Previous experience operating die cutting or similar machinery preferred
? Strong mechanical aptitude
? Ability to read job tickets, technical drawings, and measurements
? Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
? Attention to detail and quality control focus
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment
? Willingness to work shifts or overtime if required
