Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join the workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and troubleshooting complex vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles (petrol and diesel)
- Identify faults in engine, transmission, electrical, ABS, and airbag systems
- Interpret diagnostic data, fault codes, and wiring diagrams
- Conduct electrical and electronic testing using appropriate tools
- Provide accurate repair recommendations and reports
- Support workshop technicians with complex technical issues
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Test / Red Seal preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in automotive diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and software
- Valid driver’s license
