Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, design-minded individual to help elevate our remodeling projects from beautiful to unforgettable.
This role will support our design and production teams by refining project aesthetics through thoughtful styling, material sourcing, finishing selections, and visual presentation. The right candidate understands how small details create a larger experience—artwork, lighting, mirrors, accessories, textures, staging, photography, and storytelling.
This position will play a key role in shaping the future design identity of our company and may evolve into a leadership opportunity within a future high-end remodeling brand.
Responsibilities
Design Enhancement & Styling
- Review completed kitchen and bathroom designs and provide recommendations to elevate overall aesthetics
- Build cohesive design concepts and mood boards
- Research current design trends and emerging products
- Create repeatable design standards and inspiration libraries
- Assist with selection and sourcing of: Decorative lighting, Mirrors, Wallpaper, Artwork, Accessories, Decorative hardware & Styling pieces
Sourcing & Vendor Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with Vendors, Local suppliers, Showrooms, & Trade partners
- Identify unique materials and products that align with our evolving design vision
- Develop preferred vendor lists and sourcing resources
Project Staging & Photography
- Stage completed projects for photography
- Coordinate accessories and styling pieces for finished spaces
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of projects
- Maintain a catalog of completed work and inspiration
Marketing & Content Support
- Create engaging social media content from completed projects
- Write captions and project highlights
- Assist in developing before/after content
- Help build a recognizable design aesthetic across all marketing channels
Future Growth
- Contribute ideas toward development of future luxury remodeling initiatives
- Help shape design standards and client experiences for an evolving higher-end brand
Qualifications/ Preferred Skills
- Interior design, styling, visual merchandising, marketing, or related experience
- Strong visual eye and understanding of color, texture, balance, and trends
- Experience creating mood boards and presentation materials
- Photography and basic photo editing skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Strong organization and sourcing abilities
- Comfortable networking and building relationships
Bonus Skills
- Experience with: Canva, Pinterest, Houzz, Instagram content creation, Residential remodeling experience and/ or Home staging experience
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle as well as a portfolio of your previous design experience.
This is a full-time position, 9a and 5p, M-F. We are business casual, off Glenwood near 540. We are a fun team committed to serving our clients through excellent customer service and quality projects. This is a great place to start something new and grow!
