Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, organised, and experienced Dental Assistant to support chairside clinical work and ensure a smooth, high-standard patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance (4-handed dentistry)
- Preparing patients and operatories for dental procedures
- Instrument sterilisation and infection control compliance
- Managing patient flow and assisting with clinical efficiency
- Accurate clinical record-keeping
- Stock control and operatory readiness
- Professional and compassionate patient interaction
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- HPCSA-registered Dental Assistant
- Proven chairside assisting experience
- Experience using GoodX / Elixir dental software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High standards of hygiene, organisation, and professionalism
Advantageous
- Experience in a busy private dental practice
- Exposure to cosmetic dentistry
- Strong time-management and multitasking ability
