Responsibilities
- Safely operate a branded company delivery van to deliver Amazon packages across designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Deliver anywhere from 200-300+ packages a day, requiring constant moving, lifting, and walking.
- Use cutting-edge handheld technology to navigate optimal routes, scan packages, and manage delivery information accurately.
- Engage with customers and the community professionally, acting as a "good neighbor" on the road.
- Perform heavy lifting safely when handling packages, following proper ergonomic practices.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements Safety is our number one priority. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Age & Licensing: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid standard California Driver’s License (No CDL required).
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks regularly throughout the day, including lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs, and easily getting in and out of the van.
- Skills: Excellent organizational skills for managing routes efficiently and strong communication skills to build rapport with the community.
- Experience: Experience in route driving with a focus on safety and punctuality is preferred. Military experience involving logistics or driving is highly advantageous!
