Your key job responsibilities as the Debt Collector:
- Recover overdue payments and past due accounts by tracking debtors down using the phone or mail and other legal strategic means.
- Keeping records of payments, and preparing routine letters requesting payment for overdue accounts and forwarding these for legal action
- Reach the set target each month for unpaid loans recovery.
- Proactively identify potential risks and recommend enhancements to existing processes
- Provide detailed information on any file where there appears to be suspicious activity
- Efficient and effective customer service delivery
- Retain and maintain relationships with existing customers and stakeholders
- Identify possible risks in the delinquent clients and communicate to relevant parties
Requirements For This Debt Collector
- Matric with Mathematics, or Accounting (Essential)
- Computer Literacy-MS Office, Email management (Essential)
- Experience within Micro lending environment or related field will be advantageous
- Communication, negotiation, managing and recovery of unpaid loans, telephone and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of financing products like NUPAY and WEBFIN etc.
- Driver’s license
