Debt Collection Agent Jobs in Woodmead at Dredin Consulting
We are looking for DEBT COLLECTORS to work at our offices in Woodmead. This role involves managing delinquent accounts that require assertive collection tactics. The successful candidates will be responsible for contacting customers, negotiating payment plans, and, when necessary, taking legal action to recover outstanding debts.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Make and receive outbound/inbound calls to customers regarding overdue accounts in a professional, polite, and empathetic manner.
- Solution Selling: Offer tailored repayment plans, payment extensions, and hardship programs to resolve the outstanding balance.
- Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions, promises to pay, and next steps in our CRM (i.e., Swordfish).
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to the Council for Debt Collectors (CFDC) Code of Conduct regulations, and client-specific guidelines. Zero tolerance for abusive language or harassment.
- Customer Retention: Maintain a positive brand image; you are not just collecting money; you are saving a customer relationship for our clients.
- Quota Achievement: Meet monthly targets for promise-to-pay ratios, call quality scores, and conversion rates.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, retail sales, call centers, or collections.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or telecommunications is a plus.
