Are you an experienced Data Scientist ready to take ownership of high-impact analytics and drive strategic decisions?
POSITION INFO:
This role sits within a highly advanced, data‑led organisation operating on a significant scale. The business places data at the centre of strategic decision‑making and continues to invest heavily in analytics, machine learning and AI to drive commercial value.
As a Data Scientist III, you will lead complex data science initiatives on a long term project of 12months, partner closely with senior stakeholders, and mentor other data scientists while delivering scalable, production‑ready analytics solutions that directly impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced data science and machine learning solutions aligned to business objectives
- Translate complex business problems into actionable analytical models and insights
- Oversee and prioritise a portfolio of data science initiatives
- Ensure data quality, model accuracy, and performance monitoring
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship to data scientists
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous
Experience:
- 3–8+ years of development experience
- Experience working on full stack projects
- Experience in a retail, commercial or IT environment – (highly desired).
Skills:
- Expertise in SQL, Python, Tableau, MatLab, and Large Datasets, Excel, R, Low Code skill, Generative AI, RAG – (essential).
- Statistical modelling, machine learning and predictive analytics
- Strong data storytelling and communication skills
