Data & Analytics Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Manager to lead analytics strategy, drive data-driven decision-making, and build high-impact solutions across the business.
This position can be worked from Johannesburg (Midrand), Durban (Westville) or Cape Town.
- Must be South African Citizens
- Must be comfortable with an on-site (full week) role in Johannesburg (Midrand), Durban (Westville) or Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data & analytics strategy and roadmap
- Build and manage analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting
- Drive a single source of truth and improve data quality
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
- Lead and develop a Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence
- Deliver data products and self-service analytics capabilities
- Ensure strong data governance, security, and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement using modern tools (AI, ML, automation)
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in Data Analytics / BI
- Experience in the Management of a small Data & Analytics Team
- Strong SQL, Power BI, Excel skills
- Experience with data platforms (Azure preferred)
- Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and governance
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
