Funtosh Platforms is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Intern to support our business operations, reporting, and decision-making processes. This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a university, polytechnic, or other recognized tertiary institution who are interested in data analytics, business intelligence, and technology-driven decision-making.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a university, polytechnic, or other recognized tertiary institution
- Pursuing a diploma or degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working remotely
- Reliable computer and internet connection
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize datasets for analysis
- Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
- Analyze trends and patterns in business and operational data
- Support decision-making through data insights and visualization
- Work with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and basic data tools
- Assist in maintaining data quality and accuracy across systems
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Support ad-hoc data requests from different teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts
- Experience with SQL or Python is an advantage (not required)
- Strong interest in data-driven decision-making and business insights
Work Schedule
- 25 hours per week
- Must be available Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- Flexible schedule within the designated availability window
