It also provides specialized training Autodesk (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Aveva PDMS, Revit, Hardware repairs and various certification-focused programs. In addition, the academy serves as a CBT exam center, Learners benefit from hands-on training designed to build practical skills for the modern digital workplace.
Role Description The Data Analyst Instructor will deliver structured, practice-oriented lessons on data analysis and related topics to learners at different skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing teaching materials and curricula, explaining concepts in statistics, data modeling, and analytics tools, and guiding learners through real-world projects and exercises. The instructor will assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in developing practical skills for industry and certification exams. Additional responsibilities include staying current with data analytics trends, collaborating with other instructors to improve course content, and maintaining accurate records of learner progress. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Harcourt.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Data Analytics and Data Modeling, with the ability to teach core concepts and practical techniques.
- Proficient Analytical Skills for interpreting datasets, identifying patterns, and solving real-world problems.
- Solid understanding of Statistics, including descriptive and inferential methods relevant to data analysis.
- Effective Communication skills for explaining complex topics clearly and engagingly to diverse learner groups.
- Experience using common data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python/R) and data visualization platforms is highly beneficial.
- Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience in an academic or corporate setting is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
- Ability to design lesson plans, manage classroom dynamics, and support learners with different backgrounds and learning speeds.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adapting course content to reflect current industry practices.
