About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative with experience providing customer service for health insurance plans to join our team! If you have call center experience, a passion for helping others, and knowledge of health insurance plans, this is the opportunity for you.

You’ll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting clients with their existing health plans, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Please note: This role is a full-time, in-office position with absolutely no remote. Customer Service Hours of Operation are 9 am – 6 pm, Monday – Thursday, and 9 am – 5:30 pm on Fridays. We currently do not offer health, dental, or vision insurance. No PTO or OT without prior approval.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and texts
  • Provide information on health insurance plans and benefits to individuals enrolled in various health, dental, and vision plans
  • Assist customers in adding or canceling coverage and benefit navigation
  • Document and update customer records accurately
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements

✅ 1+ year of call center experience required (insurance verification specialist, medical assistant, switchboard operator, appointment setting and retail/customer-facing roles do not qualify)
✅ Experience with providing a high level of customer support for individuals enrolled in health insurance plans or a similar product is preferred
✅ Strong communication and listening skills
✅ Proficiency with Office 365 and dialer systems
✅ Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
✅ Team player with no ego — coachable and collaborative
✅ Must be punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
✅ Must be able to work full-time in our Delray Beach office
