Customer Service Representative
A well-established leader in the storage equipment industry, specializing in commercial shelving and specialty storage solutions in the Naperville area, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, distributors, and internal departments, helping ensure accurate order processing, effective communication, and exceptional customer support. What You’ll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you will support customers throughout the order and service process while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a high level of responsiveness and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and technical questions
- Support inside sales opportunities and identify customer needs
- Coordinate order changes, shipping arrangements, and delivery updates
- Work with customers on freight claims and warranty claims
- Assist with inventory inquiries and order tracking
- Support e-commerce and customer portal activities
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and shipping departments to resolve customer issues
- Research and troubleshoot customer concerns to provide timely solutions
- Assist with custom design and project opportunities when needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service, office, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or SAP is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic office equipment and computer skills required

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
Pay: $21.50 – $23.00 per hour
