About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Agent based in South Africa to support our global customer service operation on US working hours.
This is a full-time remote role for a self-employed contractor, suited to someone with strong written communication skills, a calm and practical approach to problem-solving, and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
You will be the first point of contact for customer queries, helping to resolve a wide range of issues across multiple channels. From order support and address changes to investigating more complex cases, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers feel informed, supported, and well looked after.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries
- Resolving customer issues quickly, clearly, and professionally
- Managing customer communication through to resolution, keeping customers informed throughout
- Working within agreed service level agreements and department KPIs
- Handling a range of customer queries with varying complexity
- Escalating more complex issues where needed
- Liaising with internal teams including Logistics and Finance to resolve issues
- Completing administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the department
- Attending regular team meetings and contributing to service improvements

- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- A customer-first mindset and good judgement
- Ability to work independently and stay organised in a remote role
- Confidence in handling a range of customer queries with professionalism and care
- A reliable, self-motivated, can-do attitude
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain quality standards
- Comfortable collaborating with colleagues across teams
- Willingness to work full-time US hours
Contract and Benefits
This role is offered on a self-employed / independent contractor basis.
