Key Responsibilities
Customer Fulfilment & Service
- Own and deliver the customer fulfilment strategy and service performance
- Ensure OTIF targets and agreed service levels are consistently achieved
- Act as the primary supply chain interface for key customers
- Manage the full order lifecycle from order receipt to delivery
- Lead customer logistics reviews and resolve service escalations
Logistics & Distribution Operations
- Lead daily outbound transport planning and execution
- Manage third-party logistics providers and transport contracts
- Optimise routing, truck utilisation, and distribution networks
- Track and improve logistics performance and service levels
Export & International Logistics
- Manage export logistics via road and ocean freight
- Ensure compliance with international trade and customs regulations
- Coordinate freight forwarders, ports, and export documentation
- Monitor export logistics costs and service reliability
Financial & Cost Management
- Manage the outbound logistics and transport budget
- Drive cost-to-serve transparency and logistics cost optimisation
- Support logistics budgeting, forecasting, and working capital initiatives
Integrated Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning and IBP teams
- Provide fulfilment insights into S&OP / IBP processes
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and BBS
- Support digitalisation and logistics process optimisation initiatives
People Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 14 employees
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused culture
- Coach, mentor and manage performance and development plans
Safety, Sustainability & Governance
- Ensure transport safety and regulatory compliance
- Promote sustainable logistics practices and emissions reduction
- Maintain strong governance, risk management and compliance standards
