About Us
We are a growing South African retail group operating multiple fashion and beauty brands, focused on delivering excellent customer service and driving strong customer conversion across all channels.
We are looking for a highly capable Customer Experience & Support Administrator to manage customer communication, support sales conversion, and maintain exceptional customer experience standards across multiple customer touchpoints.
This role suits someone experienced, proactive, sales-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer communication across WhatsApp, email, telephony, and social media platforms
- Respond to customer enquiries quickly, professionally, and accurately
- Follow up on customer leads and enquiries to support sales conversion
- Maintain accurate customer records and ticket updates within Zendesk and related systems
- Ensure unresolved customer matters are escalated and followed through appropriately Support daily customer operations and administrative processes
- Maintain high standards of response times, customer service, and communication quality
- Assist with monitoring customer satisfaction and sales conversion performance
- Support the broader retail and customer operations team where required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-performance customer service, customer operations, retail, or support environment
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving ability
- Sales-oriented mindset with confidence in customer engagement and follow-up
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Previous CRM or Zendesk experience advantageous
- Retail, e-commerce, or call-centre experience preferred
Package & Earnings Potential
- Basic Salary- R10,000 – R12,000 per month
- Sales conversions from inbound enquiries-Up to R5,000
- Lead response times & follow-up completion-Up to R1,500
- Customer satisfaction & service quality- Up to R1,500
- Total potential earnings- Up to R20,000+ per month
Working Hours
- Operational support hours are from 08:00 to 20:00
- Staff will work rotational shifts to ensure full coverage
- The role operates on a 6-day work week
- Certain late shifts may be performed remotely/work-from-home based on operational scheduling
