Duties
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct specialized floor care such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring quality.
- Execute janitorial tasks in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all spaces are tidy and presentable.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial cleaning projects, including heavy-duty cleaning of machinery and work areas.
- Support facilities maintenance by identifying repair needs, reporting issues promptly, and assisting with light maintenance tasks such as painting or minor repairs.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of equipment and materials.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential environments.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
