  • Coordinate the end-to-end cross-border sales order cycle for both road and rail exports by aligning with planning and shipping schedules and ensuring full adherence to timelines.
  • Manage (Support and administer) and prevent short shipments, ensuring 100% On-Time-In-Full-Without-Any-Complaints (OTIFWAC) performance for export documentation and delivering final documents to customers within defined timeframes.
  • Ensure full legal compliance with all shipping, customs, excise, and port regulations, including Zero-Rated VAT, exchange control regulations, INCO terms, and SAP export requirements at all times.
  • Manage all cross-border documentation with specialist knowledge of Incoterms, customs and excise documentation, shipping instructions (SIs), bills of lading, CTOs, Rules of Origin, and customer-specific requirements, ensuring 100% accuracy in documentation, filing, and audit trail maintenance on a daily basis.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by coordinating with service providers, investigating and resolving customer complaints, implementing corrective actions, and analysing complaint data to prevent recurrence.
  • Implement and maintain effective system utilisation by working in line with design specifications and conducting regular testing to ensure functionality.
  • Optimise SAP system performance by ensuring 100% compliance with export processes, conducting data clean-up and regular updates, resolving SAP error logs, and fine-tuning system configurations for optimal operation.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis.
  • Comply with?established processes through?accurate?implementation, continuous process awareness, and?timely?resolution of any areas of concern.
  • Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance.
  • Monitor SHE performance by establishing clear standards, ensuring timely completion of monitoring activities, and resolving issues within defined deadlines.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
  • Maintain relationships with service providers by understanding and tracking service levels required and monitoring delivery against standards, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective action monthly and as required
  • Contribute to the team by actively participating in team events, identifying areas where support is needed, and providing the necessary assistance.
  • Engage with team members consistently and be an active, dependable presence in daily team activities.

  • Other: Specialist knowledge on export documents requirements and customs clearance procedures in Africa and BLNS destinations
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent?
  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, Exports or similar
  • B Com in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, Exports or similar will be advantageous
