Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians to complete maintenance, planting, pruning, and installation projects efficiently and safely
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, irrigation system management, tree care, gardening, and general horticulture tasks
- Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members to enhance their skills in landscaping, construction, and maintenance techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded
- Conduct site inspections to assess landscape conditions and determine necessary improvements or repairs
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of lawn care, garden design, and plant health
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, gardening techniques, and general landscape construction
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward shared goals
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to landscape maintenance and construction activities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and operating equipment
