QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Grade 12 (required)
- Relevant certificate, diploma, or degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit control, handling both consumer and business customers.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
- Oversee collections for both consumer and business accounts.
- Manage outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to handle payment discussions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance credit control efficiency.
CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges.
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and must be able to delegate.
- Analytical thinking ability is essential.
