Crane Driver
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Crane Operator Certificate / Licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating cranes within power generation, construction, shutdown, or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience in lifting, rigging support, and safe crane operations during outages and maintenance activities
- Experience working on Eskom power stations or large industrial outages will be advantageous
- Good understanding of lifting procedures and safety regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently during outage and maintenance activities
- Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure cranes are in good working condition
- Lift, move, and position heavy equipment and materials as required
- Coordinate with riggers, supervisors, and maintenance teams during lifting operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and lifting procedures
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of crane operations and lifting safety
- Good communication and coordination skills
- High attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work under pressure and meet outage deadlines
