Position Summary
The Tax Manager will oversee the preparation and review of individual and small business tax returns while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a client-facing, in-person role that requires strong technical tax knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with business owners and individuals.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare complex individual and small business tax returns
- Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Meet with clients to discuss tax strategies, financial situations, and planning opportunities
- Research and resolve tax issues and questions
- Supervise and mentor tax staff and preparers
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax engagements
Qualifications
- CPA or EA preferred
- 5+ years of tax preparation experience
- Strong experience with individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional technology skills are essential

Pay: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
