Summary:
We are looking for Country Manager, responsible for contacting potential clients, driving the distributor, Retailers and Channel partners. Manage sales team and have excellent Morocco Home Appliances market knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
- Set and monitor the country’s sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability ensuring they are met.
- Recruiting, mentoring and monitoring the performance of the sales and trade marketing team.
- Identify and capitalize an opportunity to grow market share in the country, including expanding into new regions or market segments
- Identify opportunities for new business development, including potential new customers, partnerships, and channels.
- Set and achieve revenue targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Expand the company’s distribution channels and retail presence across the country.
- Develop relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and wholesalers. Ensuring stable and growing business skim with all partners
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Coordinate and monitor promoters and supervisor by setting key performance indicator (KPI) to enhance sell-out performance of the stores.
- Report to regional management on business performance, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure smooth communication between the local team and the regional office.
- Analyze the effectiveness of product displays and suggest improvements based on customer engagement and sales data.
- Lead the team and taking actions to develop promotional strategies to increase in-house share of the key accounts in the responsible markets.
Necessary Skills Needed:
- Problem Solving
- Fluent in English, French and Arabic Speaking
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or above
MBA will be advantageous
Home Appliances (including Kitchen Appliances) background is a must
Job Requirements:
- 8 Plus years of extensive sales management experience within Home Appliances/ Consumer electronics industry in Morocco.
- Excellent Morocco market knowledge.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience developing and managing a sales team
- Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
