Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Manager to lead our Mobile and Consumer Electronics business in the Benin Republic. This role is pivotal in driving sales, marketing, and business development strategies to expand our market presence and achieve sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will be based in Benin Republic and will report to the MX and CE Leadership based in Nigeria office, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and corporate goals.
Main Purpose of the Role
- Responsible for increasing Mobile & CE products sales through retailers, wholesalers and Distributor(s).
- Responsible for increasing Mobile & CE product and in store brand awareness.
- Responsible for implementing Mobile & CE training through the agencies.
- Responsible for monitoring relationship & performance of Field force agencies and team.
- Responsible for growing Samsung Market share in Benin and Togo
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for sustained sales growth and improve market share in country.
- Overall management and supervision of Samsung Field force management team to ensure successful delivery of objectives
- Managing, motivating and continuous skills & knowledge transfer to members of the team.
- Responsible for monitoring RRP of all Mobile & CE products & advice dealers accordingly.
- VMD Management.
- Collaborate with Retail and Marketing units to increase Brand presence.
- Healthy customer relation management with Retail team & Dealers to grow pipeline & boost sales.
- Developing and growing sales pipelines from Resellers to end consumers through the retail channel and specific programs in the channel.
- Supervisory and strategic on leadership role for sales team.
- Drive Weekly PSI between Key Dealers and business- MX & CE
- Strategic product pricing with Head of PM for SEWA
- Weekly, quarterly reports on sales, market insights and trends and other relevant reports based on request.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achievement of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual targets through channels: Sell-through, Sell-out and improved ASP.
- Market development for Benin Clusters.
- Drive compliance use of MCS system across the entire team
- Monitor Channel performance (OR, IR, SES, and Brand Store)
Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role
- 3-5 experience in Retail Management, Business Management and Account Management
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- English & French Proficiency
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Good Knowledge of Mobile/Consumer Electronics (CE) operating environment
