Countertop Installer Jobs in Farmington Hills, MI at World Stone Group
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Countertop Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience installing natural and engineered stone surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires accuracy, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport, handle, and install stone countertops at job sites
- Read and interpret fabrication and installation plans or blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, polish, and fit stone as needed
- Work with adhesives, fasteners, and support systems as required
- Inspect finished installations for quality and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and truck at job sites and in the shop
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
- 1+ years of experience in countertop or stone installation preferred
- Proficiency with tools such as saws, grinders, polishers, and levels
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Valid chauffeurs driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or until necessary daily required work is completed. Medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans are available. Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
