Role Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably within MEP, construction, power, oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
The role will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling project costs related to electrical and MEP works, ensuring that project performance remains aligned with approved budgets, project requirements, and contractual obligations.
Main Responsibilities
Monitor actual project costs against approved budgets and cost baselines.
Prepare and update cost reports, cash flow reports, forecasts, and cost-at-completion reports.
Track actual costs, commitments, variations, claims, change orders, and expected future costs.
Support the development and maintenance of CBS structures in coordination with project plans and WBS.
Perform cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions when required.
Review the cost impact of additional works, variations, and scope changes.
Review BOQs, quantities, supplier invoices, and subcontractor invoices related to electrical and MEP scopes.
Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, commercial, finance, and site teams.
Identify cost risks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for better cost control.
Maintain proper cost documentation and records for ongoing and completed projects.
