Conveyancing Secretary

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Secretary.
• Must be proficient in Lexis Convey.
• Extensive experience with:
  • Conventional Transfers
  • Sectional Title Transfers
  • Bond Registrations
• Exceptional attention to detail when drafting conveyancing documents.
• Honest, trustworthy and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Well spoken with excellent communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Highly organised, efficient and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Professional, neat and able to work well under pressure.
• Available to commence employment as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare all conveyancing documentation accurately and timeously.
• Attend to the full conveyancing process for conventional transfers, sectional title transfers and bond registrations.
• Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, banks, municipalities and the Deeds Office.
• Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and submitted within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical conveyancing files.
• Provide exceptional administrative support to the conveyancing department.
• Ensure matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining the highest level of accuracy.

Salary

Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications, experience and level of expertise.

Start Date

The successful candidate should be available to commence employment as soon as possible.
