Job Description:
• Analyze and evaluate contractor and supplier bids based on cost, quality, and timeline.
• Prepare, review, and manage all contracts with subcontractors and suppliers in compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, claims, and schedules to achieve best commercial value.
• Approve technical proposals in line with BOQ and project specifications.
• Act as the main liaison with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor contractors’ financial performance to ensure works are delivered within budget.
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
• Review insurance, warranties, and legal terms to ensure full contractual protection.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Contracts Engineer or similar role.
- BSc. Architecture/ Civil Engineering.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of contract documents and legal specifications
- Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Contracts Specialist
