About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a qualified Contracts Engineer to join our Egypt office. The ideal candidate will support the management of contracts across ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring compliance, minimizing risks, and supporting project teams in all contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and administer contracts and subcontracts
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies
- Handle variations, claims, and contract changes
- Support project and procurement teams with contract-related matters
- Manage contract documentation and correspondence
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Assist in dispute resolution and negotiations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in contracts within the construction industry
- Experience in handling claims and variations
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Excellent command of English
Preferred
- Previous experience with contractors or EPC companies
- Exposure to KSA or regional projects is a plus
