Job Summary
The Content Cost and Rights Management Executive is a key driver in optimizing content investment by ensuring the accurate tracking, management, reporting, and compliance of content costs and rights across multiple platforms. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of contract structures, and a proactive approach to rights and cost analysis. The ideal candidate brings media industry experience, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for data interpretation and strategic insights to support informed business decisions and maximize content value
Key functions & Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of content rights, licensing models, and contract structures in the media industry
- Ability to review, interpret, and accurately input contract terms into rights management system
- Experience in tracking, analyzing, and reporting content costs to support financial decision-making
- Familiarity with rights management platforms, media asset management systems, and data reporting tool
- Ensure precise contract data entry for broadcast TV channels and video-on-demand (VOD) platforms, proactively identifying discrepancies and escalating inconsistencies for resolution
- Monitor title schedules, amendments, and contractual options across linear TV and VOD platforms while generating comprehensive reports to support strategic decision-making
- Effectively manage contracts, balancing priorities and adapting to evolving business needs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to enhance rights tracking and cost management workflows, ensuring seamless content operations across linear TV and VOD platforms
Skills:
- Ability to read contracts in (Arabic/ English) is a must
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- lDemonstrate good judgment and strong critical thinking skills.
- Expert knowledge of broadcast and VOD
- Good people skills
- ilThe ability to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and adjusting direction as needed in a dynamic work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- At least 3-5 years of related work experience is required
- Prior experience with contract administration
