Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area for a Construction Site Manager. The Construction Site Manager will oversee daily operations at construction sites, including coordinating team activities, managing construction schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. The role involves planning project timelines, supervising subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and tracking costs and budgets to maintain efficient and timely project delivery. Collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure all specifications are met and the resolution of on-site challenges are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Site Management and Construction Site Management to oversee day-to-day site operations effectively
- Strong skills in Planning, with the ability to develop and manage project timelines
- Experience in Cost Control and Budgeting to monitor expenses and ensure financial efficiency
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in large-scale residential or mixed-use developments is a significant advantage
- Proficiency in construction management tools and software is desirable
