Wecon (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Project Managers x 2 to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and work programs.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
  • Prepare progress reports, project updates, and performance evaluations for management and clients.
  • Manage project risks, variations, delays, and dispute resolutions effectively.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Ensure effective cost control and budget management throughout project execution.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful project handover and close-out documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Registered and active SACPCMP certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing civil, building, or infrastructure projects.

Pay: R35 000,00 – R50 000,00 per month
