As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing high-quality construction work, ensuring safety and efficiency on every site. Duties
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to support various construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to follow project specifications accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as concrete, masonry blocks, or framing components to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Support masonry work including tile laying, stucco application, and restoration projects with precision.
- Conduct demolition, renovation, or site cleanup activities to prepare work areas for ongoing construction.
- Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, and drywall installation to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope and materials.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is highly desirable.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions is essential.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
