As part of our global expansion strategy, Aventus Group is establishing operations in South Africa and is looking for a Compliance Officer to support regulatory compliance and internal policies in our Cape Town office.

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer who will support the company in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
The role involves working closely with internal teams, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize compliance documentation and internal records;
- Prepare and submit regulatory and compliance reports to relevant authorities;
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies;
- Support internal teams with compliance-related questions and processes;
- Assist in handling client requests related to regulatory or compliance matters;
- Monitor regulatory updates and support implementation of compliance procedures.
Requirements
- Eligible to legally work in South Africa;
- 1–3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles;
- Experience in financial services, fintech, lending, or banking is an advantage;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage documentation processes;
- Fluent English.
